On inshore/nearshore fishing trips, you will be fishing very close to the shore most of the time (generally within a few hundred yards). There are occasions when fishing Nearshore were you may go a few miles off the beach into the ocean, but the farthest we are allowed to take you is 3 miles on an Inshore/Nearshore trip.
On offshore trips the captains have licenses that allow them to take you as far offshore as necessary, so going far enough to not be able to see land is very common. Most blue water trips for mahi and billfish will be between 30 to 50 miles offshore.
It is recommended that you get to the shop about 10-15 minutes before you are scheduled to leave for your trip. This will allow time for you to get parked in the appropriate parking spot if necessary, get acquainted with your charter captain, use the bathroom, and get your gear, food, and drinks on the boat.
Our charters include a licensed guide, fishing gear, and bait. We also have parking right beside our dock, where you will be leaving from.
